What is Pewz?
Pewz is a social network for church families: a feed, photos, stories, messages, groups and events, with church pages, prayer requests, Amen reactions and a daily KJV verse. It is built to stay clean and family-friendly.
Why does Pewz cost money?
A small membership keeps ads off Pewz and keeps out bots, trolls and spam. Everyone who posts is a real, accountable person on a plan or covered by their church.
How does “Try it for 7 days” work?
Pick a person plan and add PayPal or a card. Your first charge is 7 days later, and we email you 2 days before. Cancel in Settings before then and you won’t be charged. It is available once per person. Church plans start right away.
What can I do without a plan?
You can react to posts, edit your profile, add friends, join groups and RSVP to events. Posting, comments and messages come with a plan or your church’s plan.
How does the church plan work?
The church plan is $10 a month plus $2 a month for each member it covers. Approved members within your plan can post, comment and message without buying their own plan. You can change the number of members covered anytime. Yearly billing is 10 times the monthly price.
Who can see what I post?
You choose the audience for each post. Church members can share with their church, and groups can be public, private or hidden.
How is Pewz kept clean?
Photos are checked by a nudity filter, posts are checked by a word filter, anyone can report content, and moderators review reports.
Is there an app to download?
Pewz works in any modern phone or computer browser. On your phone, add it to your Home Screen and it opens like an app, with notifications.
